LAHORE - Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had taught me dance, while Prime Minister Malik Feroz Khan Noon had invited me for the first time at the Aiwan-e-Sadr for performing dance. This was revealed by legendary dancer Zareen Panna, while giving an interview to Family Magazine on Friday. She further revealed that she had friendship with Sikander Mirza whereas Nawab Akbar Bugti and Nawab Khair Bukhsh Marri used to come to see my dance performance. She said once she had asked Nawab Akbar Bugti that you are very beautiful then he replied 'Ok Ok Panna dont make me a fool. She recalled that the eyes of Nawab Khair Bukhsh Marri had visible anger in his eyes. She said the personalities in front of whom she performed classical dance on the official invitation were Sikander Mirza, Gen Ayub Khan, Malik Feroz Khan Noon, Afghanistan King Zahir Shah, Shah of Iran Raza Shah Pehlwi, Begum Farah Deeba, former American President Eisenhower, President Chun-Li, President Suharto, Prince Ali Aga Khan and Prince Karim Aga Khan. She also said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was also a fighter as I had seen him while beating Col Qamar Shamasul Zamaan and KH Khursheed. She said that Bhutto had asked me that 'Panna I will give you 'Medal and I say that Bhutto Sahib for God sake not 'Tugma but says 'Taghma. But he says that 'I will say it 'Tugma. Exhibition: A painting exhibition 'Winds of Change by the students of Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) Rawalpindi opened at Alhamra Art Gallery, The Mall here on Friday. As many as 26 students of FJWU displayed their art work on the occasion. More than 60 pieces of art were displayed in the exhibition which will remain open till December 06. The paintings were rich as for as the theme is concerned. The social issues were highlighted through the art work. Asim Akhtar, the Curator, while talking on the occasion said, it was pleasure for them to visit Lahore to exhibit the work of their students adding the people of Lahore including senior artists appreciated their art work.
