Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested 10 outlaws and recovered weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

According to details, Tarnol police nabbed an accused Umair Khan for having a 30-bore pistol while Margallah police arrested Waheed Khan and Naseer. Ramana police apprehended Saqib and recovered stolen items from him.

Meanwhile, Industrial Area police apprehended three alleged thieves Rafiq, Faqir and Isa Khan. Nilore police apprehended one Tahir and recovered one 8MM rifle from him while an accused Qaisar was nabbed for having a 30-bore pistol. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is under way.

Meanwhile, during a special campaign against beggars, Islamabad police also arrested five professional alms-seekers.
