Rawalpindi - The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has organised at ANF Academy an interaction with international partners in drug control.
Director General ANF Major General Khawar Hanif exchanged his views with drug liaison officers of 36 countries and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), informed ANF headquarter spokesman here on Tuesday.

While speaking to the participants, the DG ANF emphasised that drug menace was a global problem, hence international partnership was considered mandatory for its eradication.

He expressed his concerns over increased cultivation of poppy crop in the region.

He stressed the need for viewing the menace as a global problem and addressing it without any prejudice.

The proceedings of the conference also included a briefing on ANF performance, particularly in accordance with the international scenario.
The DG ANF affirmed his commitment to promoting mutual cooperation and offered his wholehearted support to international partners.
