Shahid rejoins NAB after studies

ISLAMABAD - Aamir Shahid, deputy director of National Accountability Bureau Rawalpindi, has rejoined the NAB after completing his masters in criminology.
He completed his degree from Bradford University and he was on study leave. Shahid’s study area of specialisation is corruption and its impact on society and his research at Bradford University is related to political economy of corruption in Pakistan and role of NAB as a change agent. In his research he emphasised upon the strengthening the accountability mechanism and to delegate the offices to division level for awareness and prevention of corruption to achieve good governance.
Shahid has been previously associated with important inquiries including RPPs and Arslan Iftikhar.
