KARACHI- Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain said that citizens should be vigilant, as terrorists have strengthened their network in Karachi.

MQM chief asked all citizens of Karachi to remain vigilant, traders to make security teams and shopping mall owners to install security alarms, as self help measures to face the imminent terrorist threat. Altaf Hussain while condemning Korangi blast claimed that terrorists have strengthened their network in Karachi.

He called on Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah to immediately take notice of the threat and enhance security arrangements for peace in the urban center of Sindh.

It must be noted that MQM chief has always been vocal against extremists settling in Sindh province’s capital city. Most recently he has warned the provincial and federal government about the Middle Eastern extremist group Islamic State (IS) recruiting extremist elements of the city to gain roots.
