Training course for nursing instructors

LAHORE - The College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan, Regional Center Lahore conducted one-day Basic Life Supports (BLS) training course for nursing instructors. As many as 14 experienced nursing instructors attended the workshop.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony as chief guest, Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab on Health Kh Salman Rafiq said CPSP was progressing in the field of medical education. He said CPSP provided experts in the medical profession who uplifted the country at national and international level.
President CPSP Prof Zafar Ullah Ch said that the demand of ATLS, ACLS & BLS trained doctors has increased considerably. He said that these courses were mandatory for paramedical staff in the developed countries. Prof Khalid Masood Gondal briefed the guests about achievements of CPSP.
Dean of Medical Education Prof Rakhshanda Rehman said that the objective of this course was to train the nursing staff in handling cases in emergency. She said these courses were helpful in the treatment of patients.
