Quetta -  Enraged over the police crackdown on the participants of Faizabad sit-in, the activists of Tehreek Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLY) took to the streets and blocked the roads for traffic in various parts of the province.

 As Islamabad administration Saturday morning launched operation against the protestors, the activists of Tehreek Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah gathered at Hockey Chowk Quetta and blocked the highly busy road for traffic.

Following closure of the main juncture, the worst traffic gridlock was witnessed in provincial capital which disrupted traffic momentum at Sariab Road, Qambarai Road, Harganji, Double Road and Jinnah Road. Meanwhile, the commuters had to pass minutes’ journey in hours. It left the residents in troubles. The demonstrators chanting slogans against the federal government demanded resignation of Federal Minister for Law Zahid Hamid. They said that no amendment in the finality of Prophethood Bill would be endured.

The enraged protestors peacefully dispersed after holding successful negotiations with the administration. The advocates of Tehreek Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah also held a protest demonstration in Dera Murad Jamali, Jaffarabad, Lasbela and other cities of the province. In Uthal, the demonstrators blocked Quetta-Karachi National Highway and suspended traffic moment for hours which caused huge queues of vehicles at the RCD Highway.
