It looks as if for the last three years, the nations institutions and the entire administration of this country and institutions are fighting for their own survival. The politicians are particularly fighting a battle for political survival and are bothered about nothing else. The high-ups are bothered about 18th amendment and Article 175. Majority of this country, which constitutes the poor and deprived citizens have no interest in amendments. All they want is two square meals with respect and dignity. It is clearly visible that nothing has been done for the general public. People are living in deep misery and poverty. Government has no control on price-hike, law and order and corruption. Instead of fighting with each other, they should do something concrete for the country. MAJOR ANWAR PASHA (RETD), Lahore, October 22.
