Two persons including a central leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) were killed and three others injured in head-on collision between two vehicles here in Chaman on Wednesday. According to police, JUI-F leader and former MNA Maulana Abdul Ghani was on way to his seminary when his car collided with another vehicle coming from opposite direction at Chaman College Road. Maulana Abdul Ghani and another person were killed in the accident while three others sustained injuries. The bodies and injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ), Chaman. Abdul Ghani, 75, was former Member National Assembly, elected twice from the Chaman and Pishin constituencies. He was a close aide to JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and a founding member of the religious party.
