SARGODHA - Hundreds of students staged a protest demonstration and took out a motorcycle rally against the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sargodha against result errors on Tuesday here. The infuriated students shouted slogans against the board authorities and the government for alleged errors in the result of intermediate Part I and reached outside the board campus on Sargodha Faisalabad road and tried to forcibly enter into the campus but huge contingent of police foiled their attempt. Meanwhile, District Police Officer Dr Muhammad Rizwan and Chairman Board Muhammad Bashir negotiated with the students. Resultantly, the students dispersed on the assurance of free re-checking of papers and to establish a complaint centre at DCO office in this regard. The flows of traffic remain suspended on Sargodha Faisalabad due to students protest. Many SHOs, SIs reshuffled : DPO Dr M Rizwan has transferred and posted a number of police officials in the district. The station head officers who were transferred and posted included Inspector Amjad Jalal who was transfered from Police Lines to Shah Nikdar police station, Inspector Zarar Ahmed from Cantt to Police Lines, Inspector Atta Muhammad from Urban Area police station and to Rescue-15 as in-charge, Nawab Hussain from Bhera police station to Urban Area police station, Inspector Khuda Bakhsh from Police Lines to Jhal Chakian, Inspector Muhammad Riaz from Police Lines to Tirkhanwala. Likewise, Sub-Inspector Shahid Sultan from Shah Nikdar to Cantt; SI Muhammad Nawaz Zafar from Police Post Farooqa to Bhera, SI Mukhtar Ahmed from Jhal Chakain to Bhagtanwala, SI Mansha Elahi from Saddar to Factory Area. Condolence reference: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sahiwal chapter President Ali Nawaz Bhatti said on Tuesday that Begum Nusrat Bhuttos sacrifices and struggle for restoration of democracy during the dictatorial regime of Ziaul Haq would be written in golden words. Speaking at a condolence reference for the former first lady, the PPP leader said the sacrifices Nusrat Bhutto rendered for the party would never be forgotten. PPP leaders Hakeem Shahnawaz Anjum, Chaudhry Abdul Rauf Dhairr, Dilber Jani, Shamshad Anwar and a large number of party workers attended the reference at PPPs city office.
