ISLAMABAD  - A low capacity Improvised Explosive Device was found outside residence of a former PML-N MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan on Monday, police said.

"Some unknown persons had placed a suspicious bag outside the residence of the former lawmaker located at Sector E-11 of the federal capital city," a spokesperson of Islamabad police told journalists.

According to police, the IED weight approximately half kg two electric Detonators Prima cord Timer Battery and a mobile set recovered. At about 9:00am in the morning, Amir Khan brother of ex-MNA informed police there lies a suspicious packet in front of small gate of their house.

Following the call, SHO Golra Police Station and Bomb Disposal Squad rushed to the seen and evacuated the area. The Bomb Disposal Squad disposed of IED. The spokesperson said that cell number and IMEI number has already been sent for investigation.
