PESHAWAR - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Friday paid homage to slain late KPK minister for law and parliamentary affairs Israrullah Khan Gandapur as a good politician, lawmakers and a good human being, who has been killed in a suicide blast on the first day of Eid-ul Azha.

This special session has been called on the requisition of the opposition parties to offer Fateha for the departed soul of the assassinated lawmaker Israrullah Gandapur, who has been killed in explosion when he was greeting people of his area on Eid day at Gandapur House in Dera Ismail Khan. Both treasury and opposition members praised the late lawmaker as a politician and a human being. On this occasion, JUI-F Parliamentary Leader Maulana Lutfur Rehman said that government should exhibit seriousness in holding talks with Taliban so that to restore peace in the country as law and order situation was deteriorating with each passing day.

He said that government should also ensure security of common people like ministers.  In his speech, KPK Health Minister Shaukat Yousafzai said, "We are demanding the federal government to speed up the pace of dialogue with Taliban and also informed the provincial government regarding the location where talks are continuing with Tehrik-e-Taliban.

He said that they don't want any aid from the United States but want immediate halt to drone operation in tribal areas of the country. They termed the prime minister visit to USA a complete failure to convince US President Barak Obama on stopping drone attacks inside Pakistan.  Addressing on the occasion Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister Siraj-ul-Haq said that federal government is watching their dead bodies while foreign elements have taken strong holds in tribal areas where secret agencies like RAW, MUSAD and KGB are busy round-the-clock to hatch conspiracy against Pakistan.

He informed that these forces have separated East Pakistan and now they are trying to change the geographical location in Balochistan. He mentioned that peace in this region is impossible until the US and its allies did not withdraw troops from Afghanistan.

Later speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Asad Qaisar adjourned the session till Monday evening.
