LAHORE - District Coordination Officer Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi has constituted twenty monitoring teams to inspect missing facilities in government schools including teachers’ presence and cleanliness.

The monitoring teams will pay surprise visits to government schools and submit reports to the DCO Office. “Schools which are lacking basic facilities will be provided all missing facilities on top priority,” the DCO added.

He also directed the District Monitoring Officer and his staff to pay visit to all government schools to check teachers’ presence.

Meanwhile, Dr Qazi along with DIG (Operations) on Friday paid visit to Raiwing city to check arrangements regarding tree-day annual Tabligee Congregation (Ijtima).

They held meeting with Ijtima administration, which was participated by officials concerned of City District Government Lahore. DCO, Lahore assured Ijtimah administration of solving parking and traffic related problems on ijtima occasion.

“A temporary hospital is going to be established in Raiwind and Control Room will be made. CCTV cameras will also be installed on sensitive points to monitor Ijtimah and to keep eyes on suspected persons,” Qazi added.
