Panic and stamped happens in larger gatherings and sometimes become hard to manage, even during Hajj many die, due to suffocation or being trampled. The same happened in PTI’s rally in Multan. The gathering was so large that it went out of control. PTI’ management and district management did not expect such a large crowd and had not taken the required steps to deal with the situation.
The PTI and the DCO keep shoving the blame on each other, what has happened, happed, and now we need to learn from it and make sure that such incident never happens again. Without blaming anyone I would say that the government should take some responsibility, but then no information has been brought to light about the 14 killed by police firing in Model Town Lahore, why should we expect anything from this government?
