ISLAMABAD - The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Saturday decided to extend the due date for filing income tax returns to October 15 from earlier due date of Sept 30, an official told. According to FBR official, the date for filling returns has been extended due to floods in the country, as taxpayers faced problems regarding finalising their returns. However the notification in this regard would be issued in the next couple of days.
