LAHORE - Speakers at a symposium have stressed the need of raising public awareness about hazards of growing population and benefits of using proper contraceptive measures. Bayer Pakistan organised the symposium here at a local hotel on Saturday in connection with World Contraception Day. Top gynaecologists including Prof Dr Arshad and Prof Dr Arif Tajjamal highlighted the increasing danger of 'population bomb' and stressed upon the need of raising awareness among public about safe contraceptive measures. Bayer Pakistan organised series of symposiums in major cities including Lahore to raise awareness about contraception among women. Countries around the world organise events on September 26 each year to mark World Contraception Day and to demonstrate their commitment to raise awareness about contraception and improve education regarding Women Health Care.
