KARACHI - Bin Qasim Association of Trade and Industry (BQATI) has demanded the KESC to stop the practice of doing unscheduled loadsh-edding in the jurisdiction of Bin Qasim Association of Trade and Industry, saying that it was not only disrupting the manufacturing activities but also causing heavy losses to the industrial heavy machinery. According to a press statement issued by BQATI on Saturday, BQATI said many applications have been given to KESC officials to draw their attention on this issue but they always make excuses on low gas pressure. BQATI has requested to KESC to exempt Port Qasim area from the unannounced loadshedding and to ensure the supply of electricity in the area without any hindrance but so far there is no progress by the KESC yet in this regard.
