Lahore: Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) is planning to initiate new vocational training centers at 30 Deeni Madaris across the province of Punjab.

New training centers are being instituted keeping in view the demand of the Heads of Deeni Madaris for imparting technical training to their enrolled students.

This was said by Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh while addressing the officers in a meeting at TEVTA Secretariat.

Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that 14000 students of 31 selected Deeni Madaris across the province of the Punjab have successfully been imparted skilled based training.

This effort by TEVTA to train youth at Deeni Madaris has started bringing tangible results. Many pass-out youth have reportedly become financially independent.
