The post-Hajj operation of Pakistan International Airlines has concluded on Wednesday.

According to the PIA spokesman, 240 flights were operated by National carriage in one month airlifting  68500 pilgrims from the holy land to the country.

The process of airlifting pilgrims from Saudi Arabia to Peshawar has also been completed as last Hajj flight on board with 262 pilgrims landed at Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar this afternoon.

A spokesman of Hajj Directorate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa told that a total of 31000 pilgrims were airlifted from the holy land to Peshawar through seventy-eight special hajj flights.
