RAWALPINDI (APP) - Seven persons received 50 percent burn injuries from a gas leakage explosion in a medicine factory at Cheema plaza here at Khayaban-e-Sir Syed on Monday. The condition of two persons Adil and Amir Dad, who received 80 percent burn injuries was out of danger. Seven vehicles of rescue 1122 extinguished the fire after hectic efforts. Tanvir Ejaz, Raja Wajid, Adnan Tahir Mehmoord and Shahzad, who received 50 percent burn injuries, have been shifted to Holy Family Hospital. 'Miyari Urdu Qaida' National Language Authority (NLA) will hold the launching ceremony of Miyari Urdu Qaida on April 28 here (Wednesday). The new Urdu Qaida for class-I was published recently by the authority, said a news release issued here. Prof Fateh Muhammad Malik, Rector International Islamic University will preside over the ceremony and Dr Moinuddin Adeel will be the chief guest on the occasion. Dr. Abdul Aziz Sahir, Dr. Najeeba Arif, Dr. Rubina Shehnaz, Mehmooda Toor and Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar will express their views. The proceedings will be conducted by Muhammad Islam Nashtar. The students and teachers of all schools are also invited.
