They added that some officers were following the orders of their bosses while ignoring the official ones. The sources suggested that inquiry and checking teams in all the government departments be formed so that energy saving formula could be enacted. Talking to The Nation, DCO Bhutta informed that the heads of all the government departments were responsible for ensuring the turning off of air-conditioners in their relevant institutions and departments in accordance with the policy matters. He said that from (Tuesday) today he himself would visit different government departments to check whether they keep their ACs off till 11:00am or violate the government orders. He further said that teams would be constituted which would pay surprise rounds of the government departments to check the violators, adding that these teams would continue their checking till the end date of the government orders regarding keeping the air-conditioners off till 11am in government departments.
