LAHORE - PML-Q (Like-Minded Group) Secretary General Humayun Akhtar Khan has said that those political forces which have been opposing the creation of new provinces will lose support among the masses. He was addressing a party convention held in connection with reorganisation of the Party at PP-145 here on Monday. Partys Punjab Secretary Information Mian Asif and other leaders were also present on the occasion. Humayun said that top leadership of all Muslim League factions setting aside their personal differences should make efforts for the unification of all the Leagues. He said that his party in order to end sense of deprivation among the people of various parts of the country backed the idea of formation of new provinces. Mian Asif said that only Kalabagh Dam could eliminate the energy crisis, as the artificial measures like two weekly holidays would not help end loadshedding. Condemning the raise in power tariff he appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice in this regard.
