KARACHI - Crime Investigation Department (CID) in Karachi on Monday claimed to have captured a hardcore terrorist of outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The wanted militant, Hakim Waliullah Swati, son of Ehsanullah, was arrested near from Wazir Mansion Railway Station, Mauripur, within the precincts of Docks Police Station. SSP CID (Operations) Fayyaz Khan disclosed that the accused and his companions, Qari Hassan and Nawazuddin, had beheaded a police informer Khan Swati in Orangi Town and dumped the body at a local graveyard. , for which an FIR No 157/10 was registered at the said police station. Khan further said the accused belonged to TTP Shangla, Swat, and was a close associate of TTP Swat chief. He said the accused was involved in various criminal activities in Karachi for fund generation, which he sent to militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He also provided shelter to the militants arriving in the city, the CID officer added. An FIR No 90/2010 bas been registered under Section 13/D of PrPC.
