Amir vows to promote soccer if elected

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Raja Amir said that some official of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has been working for the last 25 years and in their era the football is at standstill and now started declining day by day. Raja Amir Khan, a candidate for the post of Punjab Football Associating President during a press briefing regarding football federation election here at a local hotel on Tuesday said that some official of the Pakistan Football Federation has been working for the last 25 years and in their era, instead of progressing, the PFF declining day by day. There is a dire need of some devoted and skilled persons in the federation to make sure revolutionary changes to promote football speedily. He said that he had submitted his documents for the PFA President seat and was very hopeful to win the elections. He assured that he would leave no stone unturned in promoting football especially in Punjab if he won the elections. He said that he had great experience in this field as he, himself, a footballer and football organiser at domestic and national levels but also international level as he had played in reserve West Ham team. We want to promote club level football which always plays key role in hunting talent instead of departments which have no worth.
