LAHORE The Lahore Development Authority has regularised the services of 123 Secondary School Teachers working on contract basis in BS-16, in the four schools being run by the LDA. Decision to this effect was taken in the Governing Body meeting of the Authority here on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by District Coordination Officer and Chairman LDA Ahad Khan Cheema, and attended by Director General Abdul Jabbar Shaheen, Additional Director General (Head Quarters) Hafiz Ihsanul Haq, Director General (Housing) Irfan Bhatti, Chief Engineer TEPA Saif Ur Rahman and representatives of the provincial local government, housing, planning and development and finance departments besides administrators of the nine constituent towns of the City District, Lahore. The authority adopted notification of Education Department, Government of the Punjab regarding regularisation of teachers by the education wing of LDA. The governing body of the LDA also approved temporary construction of Sabzazar Model Bazar on Public Utility Plots measuring 15 Kanal adjacent Police Station Sabzazar scheme. The Authority allowed payment of the price assessed by the Negotiation Committee.
