LAHORE The PML-Q lawyers demanded of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take action against the Sharif brothers besides urging media to play its due role in the recovery of the money allegedly looted by the Sharifs from the poor masses of country. The lawyers expressed these views during a meeting held in Lahore, as the party leaders including Kamil Ali Agha and Mohammad Basharat Raja were also present in the meeting. Pakistan Muslim League Lawyers Wing drawn the attention of the judiciary and the media towards the alleged zero accountability of the Sharif brothers, who had allegedly looted billion of rupees from banks, financial institutions and the national exchequer. According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, the PML lawyers have also expressed their grave concern at the 'uncanny delay in the disposal of cases filed by nine Pakistani banks including the National Bank, Habib Bank, United Bank, Muslim Commercial Bank, 1st Punjab Mudarba, Bank of Punjab, ADBP, PICIC and ICP against the Sharif brothers where these banks have accused the Sharif brothers of gobbling billions of rupees, they alleged. The PML lawyers also claimed that the decision regarding the legality of Shahbaz Sharif government had also been unnecessarily prolonged. The participants also observed that the countrys depleted financial resources, soaring poverty and excruciating power outages had necessitated a firm and strict stance of all stake holders for the recovery of the money the Sharifs had stolen from the poor people of Pakistan.
