LAHORE- A nine-month-old baby was kidnapped by two women at the Mayo hospital today.
According to details, a woman resident of Sharqpur came to Lahore to visit Data Saheb's darbar. During her stay, her nine-month-old child fell ill. The woman came to Mayo hospital to get the child checkup where she met two women who offered to help her in the treatment. One woman took the baby in her custody while the other told her that she was going to get a checkup slip from the counter. After sometime when the woman wanted to know about the whereabouts of the baby, she came to know that the child was missing. The mother of the kidnapped child got a report registered at the Gwalmandi police station. Police said that they would get help from the CCTV cameras and hoped to arrest the women soon.
