LAHORE (APP) - Executive District Officer (EDO) Health, Dr Umer Farooq Baloch has said that all diagnostic and treatment facilities for dengue fever are available free in all government hospitals. Talking to APP here on Friday, the EDO said that difficulties in treatment of dengue patients is out of question. To a question, he said that platelet kits in a sufficient quantity were also stocked in every hospital and reports of unavailability of kits were only speculation. On the instructions of the Chief Minister Punjab all treatment and diagnostic facilities are being provided free of cost and isolation wards have also been established in hospitals he added.He asked people to adopt preventive measures against the disease and residual spray should be conducted inside bedrooms and washrooms and do not accumulate water in open places and pots and keep the surroundings clean.
