LAHORE - Saqib Khan Khakwani dominated the day by scoring six goals in the final of the Treet Polo Cup 2010 and helped the Master Paints/Monnoo Foods to beat Rijas with 9-7 here at Lahore Polo Club on Sunday. Shah Shamyl Alam hit two and Babar Monnoo added one for the winners. Rijas hit seven goals with Atif Yar Tiwana three, Dr Kamran Zaidi two and Faisal Shezad and Omar Asjad Malhi one each. However, in the subsidiary final, Zafa outplayed Security 2000 with 6 1/2-5. Zafa, having half goal advantage, hit six goals with the help of Asif Tiwana (3), Mohsin Atta Khan (2) and Kashif Jamal (1). Mian Khurrum Munir and Shiraz Qureshi hit two each while Shaukat Ali Malik added one for the losers. President Punjab Olympic Association Syed Shahid Ali was the guest of honour who awarded prizes among the players.
