STALWART PAYS TRIBUTE TO BB: The PPP secretary information of Bahawalpur district has said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto scarified her life for the entire Muslim Ummah not only for the Pakistani nation.

Muhammad Saleem Bhatti said that the former prime minister remained firm against the imperial society to strengthen the national integrity and sovereignty and she worked to uphold the rights of the poor hence she was crowned as the Daughter of the East

He added that the PPP activists could scarify their lives for Pakistan but could not quit the party like opportunist politicians. He claimed that Benazir Bhutto was the most towering political leader after Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Her political struggle promoted real politics of resistance against imperialism and violence. The slain leader wished the parliament as a supreme institution as envisioned by the father of the nation - Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah - as it is a representative body of the people. Bhatti said the parliamentary form of government was the best way for accountability. He said that the Quaid-i-Azam did not want a presidential form of government. Benazir, he said, dreamed free and independent judiciary and rule of justice. She always appeared before the court for justice and never insulted them like others.
