SIALKOT - An awareness workshop was organised to save surgical instruments from rusting by using advanced techniques.

A large number of surgical instruments’ manufacturers, vendors and exporters attended the workshop held by PCSR at Surgical Instruments Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (SIMAP) office here.

PCSR Director General Dr Shehzad Alam briefed the participants on advanced technical skills to save the surgical instruments from rust. He said that the advanced anti-rust technology would be helpful in modernising manufacturing techniques. On this occasion, SIMPA Chairman Jehangir Bajwa stressed the need for spreading awareness about the anti rusting skills among local venders and manufacturers. He said that the technology could give a new life to surgical instruments. It would pave the way for more than one-century old surgical industry of Sialkot to have easy excess to the international trade markets.
