Record uplift being made in PP-106: MPA


HAFIZABAD - Unprecedented development is going on in Constituency PP-106 (Hafizabad-Jalalpur Bhattian) area and Rs239.623 million is being spent on provision of potable water, provision of missing facilities in educational institutions, road network, rehabilitation of roads, provision of health care etc. MPA Asadullah Arain said here.
While talking to this scribe, he said that Rs200 million is being spent under the Special package 2010-11 jointly funded by him and MNA Saira Afzal Tarar for 31-mile long road widening and improvement of Hafizabad-Pindi Bhattian Road from Jinnah Chowk Hafizabad to Pindi Bhattian.
He said that Rs13.456 million is being sent on the rehabilitation of Peelo to Shah Jamal Road. Provision of additional classrooms and other missing facilities in more than 12 schools, Rehabilitation of road from Vanike Tara to Kot Qadir Bukhsh, Kolo Tarar to Kot Ishaq Road is also being executed at cost of Rs5.635 million. Besides, existing Government Higher Secondary Schools in Jalapur Bhattian is being converted into Model School at a cost of Rs3.750 million, he added.
Ch Asadullah Arain, who was elected MPA for the first time in 2008, is a big rice exporter and also runs different NGOs in Jalalpur Bhattian and donating substantial amount to the TB Hospital and Dialysis Centre Hafizabad.
Construction of police posts started privately: construction work of the building of police post at Winni village has been started at a cost of Rs2 million by Rana Muhammad Siddique and Rana Muhammad Arshad.
They have already purchased land for the building and transferred the same in favour of the police department. The DPO has thanked them for initiating the construction of the police post building for assisting the police to check crime incidences in the area.
Police intensify patrolling to CHECK crimes: It was bounded duty of the police to protect life, honour and property of the masses as the police have intensified patrolling to prevent cattle lifting and other crimes in remote area, DPO Abdul Rab Chaudhry said while addressing an open court in Bhobhara Police Post.
He said that all-out efforts were being made by the police to check crimes and criminals and sought their corporation with the police in the elimination crimes in their areas.
