Besides Pakistan, gender bias is present, more or less,in every developed and developing country. It is a fact that women haveand are being been exploited, regardless of whether they are housewives or working women, even in the 21st century. Nevertheless, their problems remain the same. Generally, it is assumed that after a woman gets a job all her financial and social problems are solved. But, unfortunately,it is exactly the opposite.

In Pakistan, especially in the rural areas women remain restricted to their houses. There is a very small ratio of the working women in Pakistan. Thus, there is a serious need to ponder on this issue, as women can play a vital role in the country’s economic growth. It is important to understand why 50 percent of Pakistan’s population is sitting sluggishly in the homes.
