Afghani held with stolen mobiles


SARGODHA – Police have arrested an Afghan national along with stolen cell phones worth Rs1 50,000.
A carton of mobiles was stolen from a cargo shop in Improvement Trust Plaza. On the complaint of the shop owner, the police started search of the accused and arrested a suspect later identified as Hijrat Gull who during interrogation confessed the crime and led officials to a place where stolen carton was concealed. The police have registered a case against the accused and sent him to behind bars.
BIRTHDAY: The birthday of PML-N President and former premier Nawaz Sharif was celebrated in a befitting manner here on Tuesday.  The main cake cutting ceremony was held at Sargodha Press Club wherein PML-N Member General Council Malik Aslam Naveed Awan was the chief guest while a large number of the party office-bearers participated in the ceremony.
On the occasion, Malik Aslam Awan said that the entire nation had confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and considered him as the true leader who will steer the country out of all crises. He said that the PML-N would sweep the upcoming general elections.
Another ceremony of PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif's birthday was held in PP-34 where Malik Aslam Naveed Awan also cut the cake. Former Mayor Chaudhry Hamid Hameed and other party leaders and workers were present on the occasion.
