ISLAMABAD - Adviser to Prime Minister on Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr Asim Hussain called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at the PM’s House Wednesday and discussed with him the current energy situation in the country.

During the meeting, the prime minister was briefed about the overall power situation and arrangements made to cope with the impending reduction in power generation due to canal closures. The prime minister directed him to ensure that fuel is provided to thermal power plants so that they can run on full capacity.
