islamabad - Islamabad police arrested 11 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered wine, heroine, weapon, mobile phone and stolen property from their possession, a police spokesman said yesterday.

According to details, Khanna police arrested bootlegger Asif and recovered 25 litres wine from him. Sabzi Mandi police arrested accused Shakeel and recovered 120 grams heroine from him. Kohsar police arrested two accused Imran Iqbal and Danyal Ali and recovered two wine bottles from their possession. Police team also arrested accused Muhammad Ayaz and recovered stolen mobile from him.

CIA police arrested two accused Baggi Zaman and Fukhar Zaman and recovered one 30-bore illicit pistol along with ammunition and one dagger from their possession. Sihala police arrested accused Muhammad Akram and recovered two wine bottles from him. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.

Meanwhile three professional alms-seekers were also arrested and action has been initiated against them. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city and curb activities of anti-social elements.
