LAHORE: Passengers of the Metro bus service from Lahore Station to Green Town station are facing immense trouble travelling due to scarcity of buses on the route.

According to sources, the number of buses running on this route do not meet the population requirement. Rumors are circulating in this area that the bus service on this route will be suspended soon.

While talking to media, Public Issues Committee’s Chairman Nazim Shoukat urged the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, “Please do not halt the bus service in this area. It is our way to commute and connect with the main city.”

He further pressed on the need to increase number of buses in Lahore to balance the burden on already running Metro buses.
