ISLAMABAD: Moulana Fazal Ur Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House today and discussed prevailing political situation in the country.

According to a press release, matters of national interest were discussed during the meeting including political situation . The Federal Government's development schemes in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan also came under discussion.

Sources said that threats of PPP for a protest campaign and PTI’s propaganda against the Prime Minister came up under discussion.

The Moulana assured the Prime Minister that his party would stand by the government through thick and thin.  He said the opposition would not be able to create any problem for the government as it has no standing among the people of Pakistan.
