Islamabad - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Tuesday severely criticised the capital administration for ‘becoming silent spectator to illegal occupation of lawyers on sports’ ground in F-8 Markaz.

The PTI leader of opposition in Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation in a statement said that lawyers were constructing their chambers illegally on the sports ground near district courts while ICT Administration had become a silent spectator on the issue. He said that the PTI had no other option but to launch a protest over the lethargic attitude of the ICT Administration, and ultimately the ruling party, as kids were being deprived of the sports facility.

He said that it was duty of the government to provide offices to the lawyers. He said that the PTI opposed illegal occupation of government land and would raise its voice at all forums to vacate the illegal occupation on the sports ground.
