Train driver stops engine at crossing to collect tea

KARACHI - Tea addict Train driver in Karachi stopped the train engine at a Railway crossing, disembarked and went out to collect tea from a Kiosk on Tuesday.

According to a report, the stoppage of the train engine at the Malir Wireless Gate led to long queues of vehicles on both sides of the railway crossing.

The citizens searched for the driver who ultimately came out of the Kiosk after ten minutes with tea, boarded the engine and left for his destination.

People at the site were surprised to see the irresponsible behaviour of the driver and taunted him but he did not bother about it. Those present at the venue wondered that the guard at the railway crossing also did not stop the driver  as it could have led to a major accident.
