Benazir still alive in hearts of people, says Minister

KARACHI   -   Provincial Minister for Works and Services Syed Zia Abbas Shah in his statement issued on Sunday on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister and former Chairperson of Pakistan Peoples Party Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto that Benazir Bhutto passed away 14 years ago but she was still alive in the hearts of 220 million people of the country.  We are captivated by their memories with each passing moment.  He said that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto belonged to the tribe of Bhutto family who sacrificed their lives for the security, prosperity, restoration of democracy and strengthening of democratic institutions of Pakistan.  Despite all the threats, she stood firm in her people.  Syed Zia Abbas Shah said that even in the worst period of dictatorship, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto endured the hardships of prisons.  She fought against the dictatorship. She loved her country and people immensely that was why the people had not forgotten her even today. The provincial minister further said that Ms Benazir Bhutto was a leaden wall in the country against not only dictatorship but also extremism, religious fanaticism and those who violated the rights of the people.  If the anti-national forces could not subdue them then they were removed from the path but Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto followed in the footsteps of her father and brothers and embraced death but did not like to be separated from the people nor bow her head infornt of dictatorial forces and anti-national elements. 

Today, Bilawal Bhutto, the son of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was carrying out the mission of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto as the Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party and fighting for the rights of the oppressed and poor people of the country in all corners of the country.  Their victory is certain.
