ISLAMABAD - A full bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday reinstated the suspended Secretary of Punjab Assembly, Mohammad Khan Bhatti, with immediate effect. A few months ago, the government of Shahbaz Sharif had suspended Mohammad Khan Bhatti, who had been PA to former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, In his appeal to the apex court, Bhatti had pleaded that he was politically victimised and his suspension was purely on political grounds. The attorney of Mohammad Khan Bhatti said that he would resume the charge of his office today.
