LAHORE - Governor Punjab Salman Taseer has finalised the name of senior PPP lawyer, Syed Zahid Hussain Bokhari for the vacant seat of Prosecutor General Punjab. A notification in this regard would be issued soon. Bokhari was appointed additional judge in 1996. Later, he had to leave his office in the light of the Supreme Court decision in Al-Jehad Trust case. He is father of PPP sitting MPA Azma Bokhari. The seat was lying vacant for four months and was also a bone of contention between Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Salman Taseer.
