LAHORE – A special ceremony in connection with the 51st death anniversary of Pakistan Movement leader and founder the Daily Nawa-i-waqt Hameed Nizami will be held at Hameed Nizami Hall on Saturday. The Hameed Nizami Memorial Society will arrange the programme. Society president Col (R) Amjad Hussain will preside over the sitting. Noted socio-political leaders and scholars including SM Zafar, Liaqat Baloch, Dr Rafique Ahmad, Jameel Athar, Abdul Qadir Hasan, Justice (R) Nasira Javed Iqbal, Bushra Rehman, Dr Parveen Khan and Dr Ajmal Niazi will address on the occasion.
Gujranwala students visit Aiwan: NPT Vice Chairman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad has said students should be trained for their role in national development. He said the country had enormous natural resources and the need was to utilize these minerals. He said this while addressing students of Government Higher Secondary School Kamuke Gujranwala at Aiwan-i-Karkunan Tehrik-i-Pakistan on Tuesday.
