SHEIKHUPURA - The Murike Police Saddr claimed to have arrested the kidnapper-cum-rapist of a seven-year-old girl from Ravi Rayan here. The accused identified as Ali raped the girl few days ago, according to police.
The accused threw Saleeta Batool, daughter of Zahid Abbas, unconscious in a field and fled away. She was hospitalised where she has been battling for life in comma. The police woke up to the arrest after the people came down hard on their apathy.
The residents have raised the appeal for justice.
