LAHORE  - A three-member Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission delegation led by Dr Hazza Abdullah, Saudi Cultural Attache, Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan visited the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore on Wednesday.  The delegation met with UET Vice-Chancellor Lt Gen (R) Muhammad Akram Khan. The VC briefed the guests about research and academic activities of the university. He exchanged views to promote bilateral relations between two brotherly Islamic countries. The VC assured the delegation of academic cooperation between the universities of Saudia and UET, Lahore also strengthening of mutual ties among both the countries in the field of education, engineering, information technology and business. The delegation showed great interest in the field of Architectural Engineering specially.  UET Registrar Muhammad Asif, Dean Dr Abdusstar Shakir, Dr Zubair A Khan, Prof Dr Fiaz Hussain Shah, Prof Dr Fazeelat Tahira, Director Studies Prof Dr Ghulam Abbas Anjum, Dr Waqar Mehmood were present on the occasion. The VC presented the souvenir to the Saudi Cultural Attache.
