Oppo to launch ‘selfie expert’ F1 in Pakistan
LAHORE (PR): The OPPO F1, the first product of the newly announced F series currently available in about 20 countries, will be launched in Pakistan market in the beginning of March.

Qawwali night at PC
LAHORE (PR): Qawwali night was held at PC Hotel Lahore. The hall was full with the audience including foreigners, politians, media professionals, medical professionals, bureaucrats, ambassadors and personalities of show biz. Tahir Mahmood Khan, vice president of Hashoo Group, intends to arrange more such events and other musical concerts in all PC and Marriot Hotels.

3-day Pakistan Auto Show from March 4
LAHORE (PR): The Pakistan Auto Show 2016 will be held from 4th to 6th March 2016 at the Expo Centre here. This annual event is organized by the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM).
“This year’s grand event will feature more than 120 international and local companies. It is the pioneering trade exhibition for the robust automotive aftermarket in Pakistan. It reflects the nation’s pursuit to become the future hub for auto manufacturing,” said Chairman PAAPAM, Mumshad Ali.

‘Decline in Dubai demand is exploding prices of Pak real estate’
LAHORE (PR): Real estate prices in Dubai have fallen by 16 percent year-on-year, according to the Dubai Annual Market Update Report released by Abu-Dhabi-based CBRE. At the same time, demand for Pakistan property from overseas Pakistanis living in Dubai has been on the rise over the past year.
Lamudi Pakistan’s network of agents and developers reported an increase in demand for properties in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad over the past year. Many of these experts believe that the increased demand is coming from overseas Pakistanis living in Dubai. This has an immense significance for real estate investors since Dubai’s Pakistanis spend billions on real estate every year.
Dubai Pakistanis have not completely given up on their adopted home. They still invest an average of approximately Dh. 6 billion in Dubai real estate per year, according to the Khaleej Times.

Huawei among ‘top most socially devoted brands’
LAHORE (PR): It looks as number 8 is a good omen for Huawei this year. Firstly Huawei launched its all new and perfectly worked out Huawei Mate 8 that has been extremely successful in the market and now it ha been revealed in a report that Huawei stood amongst the top socially devoted brands, in Pakistan, at number eight. A socially devoted brand is a brand that responds to at least 65% of the posts or queries of the people on Facebook or twitter. Interestingly, the fact is that Huawei is the only technology manufacturer giant in the race of socially devoted brands in the top 8 brands. Among others were cellular service providers. However, Huawei’s response time noted is 89.46% on average.
Huawei has been always reiterated that customers and their needs are most valuable to the company. Moreover, the technology manufacturer claimed to address all the segments of the consumer pool with an approach of equal priority. For the very same reasons Huawei as a brand stands out amongst the world’s top brands and now at the social media ranking Huawei was able to beat the competitors with a great margin. Huawei has turned out to be a people’s brand that not only complements their needs, perfectly, but it also remains in close contact with customers to get a better understanding of their inclinations and needs.

Dengvaxia vaccine

LYON (PR): Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of Sanofi, recently announced Dengvaxia®, the first vaccine approved for the prevention of dengue, is now being administered by healthcare providers in the Philippines, following official receipt of the first shipment of the vaccine earlier this month.
Dengvaxia®, a tetravalent dengue vaccine, was approved in the Philippines on 22 December 2015 for the prevention of disease caused by all four dengue types in individuals from 9-45 years of age living in endemic areas. The vaccine is administered in three doses given over a one-year period.
“This is truly a great moment in the history of vaccinology,” stated Guillaume Leroy, Vice-President of Dengue Vaccine, Sanofi Pasteur. Dengvaxia® is also currently approved in Mexico, Brazil and El Salvador.

Swiss ambassador inaugurates NHK Room
LAHORE (Staff Reporter): Marc P George, Ambassador of Switzerland to Pakistan, has inaugurated the Nestlé Healthy Kids (NHK) Room at the Punjab Workers Welfare School for Girls in Multan.
The NHK room has been designed and funded by the company as a result of an MOU which was recently signed between NHK and Punjab Workers Welfare Board (PWWB). Under this MoU, the NHK Programme will be implemented in all schools operated by PWWB across Punjab.
On his visit to the school, George appreciated the efforts of Nestlé Pakistan in the field of nutrition, especially the NHK Programme.
He said that such efforts will help in promoting a healthy society for the future.
