Eid Miladun Nabi celebrated in City

KARACHI – Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) was celebrated across the metropolis with immense reverence and religious zeal.
Dozens of rallies were taken out in various parts of the city.
The central rally was taken out from Memon Mosque to Nishtar Park. Thousands of people attended the rally. On the other hand, a grand gathering was held in Nishtar Park. On the sacred day, the citizens resolved to follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), and fight against terrorists, who are using the name of Islam for their vested interests. 
It was a public holiday on Friday. The city was illuminated with lights.
Various parts of the city, including Korangi, Liaquatabad, Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, Kharadar, Burns Road, Goli Mar, Sarjani town, were giving a celebratory look. The citizens also spent huge amount of money on charity activities, while sweets were distributed in the city. Various religious parties also arranged conferences, seminars and other special programs to pay tribute to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on his birth anniversary. Special security arrangements were made to protect the citizens.
