JUI-F backs offer for peace, says Fazl

BANNU - Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rahman has said that his party is backing talks offer with militants, as his party wants peace in the country.
He said that it is high time to take advantage of this opportunity. To restore peace in the country, JUI-F is ready to play its role in this regard. He said that different political parties are willing to hold peace dialogues with militants and “We back talks offer”.
Not only the government, but also the Taliban must take advantage of this opportunity, he said. Ensuring peace is a must, JUI-F Chief, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said while addressing Maulana Naseeb Ali Shah Conference in Bannu on Saturday.
He said that JUI-F had always talked about peace and tribes also wanted the same. Millions of people are refugees in their own country today, just because of the worse policies of rulers compelled tribal people to live in sufferings.
He said that that the day is not far away when tribal people would live independently in their areas soon. JUI-F Chief said that his leadership had been fighting against elements since when this part of the world was under the control of British.
He said that due to the wrong policies, bloodshed of tribesmen was on and “We want to stop that bloodshed” adding that it was crystal clear that both federal and provincial governments have failed on all fronts.
