Al Mustafa operates 1200 cataract patients

LAHORE  - Al Mustafa Welfare Trust has operated almost 1200 cataract patients and screened out more than 10,000  patients, while 2500 glasses were also distributed among the poor and deserving  patients during free eye camps, drive. These eye camps were organized with the active support of Al Mustafa Welfare Trust-UK (AMWT) in different parts of Pakistan and Kashmir.
Chairman AMWT Abdul Razzaq Sajid said that Al Mustafa organised nine eye camps in different cities including Pir Mahal, Darya Khan, Bara Kaho Islamabad, Chiniot, Shahkot, Chunian while in Kashmir, camps were held in Muzaffarabad, Dadyal and Islamgarh.
 Sajid said that Al Mustafa had provided all kinds of facilities including  medicines, glasses, lenses, surgeries, food and accommodation free of cost among the patients. Al Mustafa was supporting the largest drive of free eye camps in Pakistan and Kashmir and these camps were setting up in backward and far-flung areas where local community has not access to hospitals and hoped that some 10,000 cataract patients would be operated during on-going campaign, he added.
